Coach Teixeira, or "Noopy" as he is known to friends and associates, began his basketball career back in 1990 and 1991, when he led the Harwich Roughriders to back to back MA state championship game appearances at the Boston Garden. Teixeira served as a Millrats assistant coach from 2007-2009. From 2005-2007, he served as a player-assistant coach for the Cape Cod Frenzy of the ABA. He was named Head Coach of the Millrats on September 8th. In the offseason he conducts a summer basketball academy at the Harwich Community Center on Cape Cod.
